Deepest Sympathies

The Lourdes Brass Band offers our deepest sympathies to the Daly family, following the bereavement of their mother Mrs Joan Daly. Joan has been a life long supporter of the Band movement in Ireland. She leaves behind a family to be proud of and some of the finest musicians in Ireland. We will all miss seeing her at our regular Band events.

The thoughts and prayers of our members are with the Daly family.

May she rest in Peace.

National Band Championships 2018

The Lourdes Brass Band had a very enjoyable day representing our community in the IABCB National Band Championships held in the Solstice Centre in Navan.
The Band delivered two fine performances of the test pieces "Lake of the Moon" and "Variations on Laudate Dominum". Unfortunately we had to settle for a Third Place position.

We would like to congratulate the 1st Old Boys Band from Belfast on their success in winning the competition and extend our thanks to the IABCB for organising the event.
A great day was enjoyed by all our members and supporters.
