December 12th will officially begin the Christmas season. The Droichead Arts Centre on Stockwell Street will again host the Lourdes Brass Bands annual Christmas Concert.
As ever the night will be packed with top class musical renditions and will give you all the chance to sing along to your favorite festive tunes.
Tickets are available through the Droichead Arts Centre ticket office. Book early to avoid disappointment.
Once again the Lourdes Brass Band will lead the Dublin Christmas celebrations with a street performance on O’Connell Street, Dublin.
After a hugely popular performance last year, which had Santa, the Dublin Bus team and the city shoppers dancing and singing on the Capitals Main Street.
Yes by popular demand we are all going to do it all over again.
We will look forward to seeing you all again this year.

3.30pm - 4.30pm The Lourdes Brass Band will Kick off the Dublin Christmas Seasons, with a performance on O’Connell street at the Dublin Bus HQ Office’s.
Approx. 6.00pm When all shoppers are finished, the Bus will Depart O’Connell Street Dublin for home.
The Lourdes Brass Band will offer a Mass of Remembrance to our deceased members in the St. Augustinian Church, Shop street Drogheda on Sunday 3rd Nov 2024 at 11.00am.
The Band will perform at the mass and we would be delighted to see you all on the day.
The Lourdes Brass Band, Drogheda will hold their annual street collection day on Sept. 20th.

Drogheda will host the 2024 National Services Day on Sept. 14th 2024.
The Lourdes Brass Band will participate in celebrating the great works carried out by all the branches of our Emergency Services. The Parade will march through the town, finishing on the North Quays where the Emergency Services will display their equipment and services.
The Lourdes Brass Band, Drogheda will perform at the Millmount Heritage Day on Sunday 25th August from 1.15pm till 2.00pm.
The beautiful Millmount museum will be celebrating a Heritage day and inviting the Drogheda Community along to witness it’s picturesque views of Drogheda and learn of the rich history that the museum displays. All the while enjoying the music of the Lourdes Brass Band, Drogheda.
Ireland’s largest Band Championships and festival the “South of Ireland” Band Championships will take place on July 6th 2024 in the stunningly beautiful setting of the west Cork town of Clonakilty.
2024 will see the organizers run the ever growing and increasingly popular championships for the 43rd time.
This event is always a favorite on the Band calendar. The legendary Clonakilty welcome and the high end Band Championships make this weekend a must for Irish and International Bands alike.
The Lourdes Brass Band will hold their Flag Day Collection in Drogheda. We have served the community of Drogheda since 1959 and respectfully request our home town to support our organisation and allow us to continue bringing music and musical education to all in our community.

The Lourdes Brass Band will hold our AGM on Tuesday 23rd April 2024 at 8.30pm, in our Bandroom.
It would be great to see a strong turn out of parents and members at the AGM.
While all are welcome to join our committee. This is also an opportunity to offer opinions and ideas for the year ahead.
New ideas and fresh thinking are always welcome.

The Lourdes Brass Band has been granted permission to hold their annual Church Gate Collection on April 20th and 21st 2024.

The I.A.B.C.B. will host the 2024 Irish National Band Championship’s in the Westmeath town of Athlone. Bands will converge on the town and put their musical talents to the test.
The Dean Crowe Theatre will be the venue again in 2024, after successfully hosting the event in 2023.
The Lourdes Band are very much looking forward to seeing all our fellow bandsmen and women from all over the country.
The I.A.B.C.B. will release more details of the event in due course.
Once again we will see the Lourdes Brass Band lead the Easter Sunday commemoration parade from St. Peter’s Church on West St. Drogheda to the Marsh Road memorial. Our town mayor and local councilors will also be there to celebrate the commemoration.
The Lourdes Brass Band, will once again Parade through the streets of Drogheda in celebration of our National Day “St. Patrick’s Day”.
It is with great pride that we accept the invitation to once again lead our home town parade and kick off what is always a spectacular display of community spirit.

Members of the Lourdes Brass Band will again theme up with our friends in the Drogheda Alzheimer’s Society and perform a selection of Christmas Carols in Scotch Hall Shopping Centre on Saturday 9th Dec at 2.30pm.
All funding will go towards the Drogheda Alzheimer’s Society in support of all the good work they do in our community.
DoDublin the cities Hop-On-Hop-Off tour operator are running the Dublin Christmas Lights tours. With Brass Band, Choirs, Street performers and Santa driving the tour Bus this will be a Christmas spectacular not to be missed.
The Lourdes Band will do their part to entertain the O’Connell Street crowds with a lively festive selection of music, on Saturday 18th Nov at 3.30pm.
DoDublin tours will be promoting the event with Board Failte, Dublin Bus, 98FM Radio Station and Dublin Town. We will all be supporting the Irish Cancer Society as the benefactory charity.

The Lourdes Brass Band will once again travel to the Market Place Theatre to participate in the North of Ireland Band Championship’s. The N.I.B.A. as ever provide a great days musical entertainment which is always a big date in all our Band calendars.

Drogheda will host the 2023 National Services Day. A day to celebrate the dedication of our National Frontline Services. The Lourdes Brass Band are proud to assist and provide the musical entertainment during this celebratory parade and family day.

The 42nd South of Ireland Band Championship’s will be held in the beautiful town of Clonakilty, Co. Cork.
The South of Ireland Band Championship’s has grown to be the largest Band competition in Ireland, with competing Bands from all over Ireland and indeed some International competitors. But it’s not all about the competition, the town of Clonakilty will lay on a festival of music and fun for everyone and extend it’s warn and friendly greeting to all who visit.
The Lourdes Brass Band, Drogheda will partake in both the competition and the festival and we really look forward to meeting our fellow Bands people and all our Clonakilty friends and supporters.

The Lourdes Brass Band will proudly represent Drogheda while competing in the Section 1 (Advanced Level). It will be an emotional reunion between all the competing Bands as it will be our first time meeting since before the Covid-19 pandemic.
We are all looking forward to seeing old friends again and supporting all our Irish Bands after a very challenging period.
The Lourdes Brass Band will once again lead the commemoration parade for Halpin and Moran from St. Peter’s Church West street to the Marsh road memorial cross. The parade will take place on Easter Sunday 9th April at 12pm.
The Annual General Meeting of the Lourdes Brass Band, Drogheda will be held on March 29th 2023 at 8.00pm.
Members are always encouraged to attend and present new ideas towards the running of our organization.

The Market Place Theatre in Armagh City will host the 104th N.IB.A. Band Championships, with Saturday 22nd of October featuring the Brass Band entrants.
The Lourdes Brass Band, Drogheda will once again be in attendance and competing in a strong field of experienced Brass Bands.
As ever it will be great to meet our Band friends and enjoy the welcoming hospitality that we always receive at this venue.
