The South of Ireland Band Championships 2022 are back on the agenda for all Irish and International Bands. The West Cork town of Clonakilty will once again play host to the Band Championships, which offers a weekend of Music festivities to all.

The beautiful picturesque town will lay out the welcome mat to Bands form from all over Ireland and even further afield. Bands will ascend on the town come the first weekend of July, to entertain the audiences with the highest level of musical performances.

While the Lourdes Brass Band Drogheda will be trying to defend our title as Champions, we will be really looking forward to renewing old acquaintances with our friends from the Banding community and indeed the Clonakilty friends we have made over the decades.

After a lengthy wait to get back to some normality following the pandemic. We can’t wait to see you all again.
